Gardaland Magic Halloween 2026
From 12 September to 1 November · plus every Friday in October the “Fright Friday” evenings
🌙 Fright Fridays: the evenings
Every Friday in October Gardaland opens in the evening. When it gets dark some areas of the park become Zombie Areas, with creatures and scenes scarier than during the day.
In October: 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30, from 5 pm to 10 pm.
Official Gardaland hours: they can change, always check the day before.
🎃 What to expect
🏚️ Haunted houses and themed areas
The whole park is decorated, with haunted houses, themed areas and dedicated shows for the whole family.
👽 PREDA — new for 2026
A maze where the “aliens” find you if you make a noise: you have to cross it in silence. From the description it is meant for teens and adults who like to be scared, not for small children.
🍬 The extras (paid)
- Boo Bag: a trail around the park to fill your bag with sweets and surprises, perfect for kids.
- Scary Make-up: a horror make-up of your choice.
- “Infernal” aperitif with finger food, for grown-ups.
Full programme, shows and prices on the official website:
🌐 Magic Halloween — official Gardaland website👨👩👧 Is it suitable for children?
During the day, yes: decorations, shows and the Boo Bag are made for families. On Friday evenings the atmosphere is scarier, with the Zombie Areas: with small or easily scared children it's better to choose a Saturday or Sunday during the day. PREDA is for those looking for strong emotions.
💡 My tips for the evening
- Arrive for the 5 pm opening: you get the whole evening and your first rides while it's still light.
- Bring a sweatshirt or jacket: October evenings by the lake are chilly, especially on water rides.
- Eat at the park: the evening falls at dinner time, plan ahead so you don't waste time queuing.
- Plan your way back: in the evening shuttles and buses are less frequent, check beforehand how to get back.
🎟️ Tickets
To enjoy Magic Halloween during the day (for example at the weekend) the Gardaland day ticket is what you need. The ticket for the Friday evenings is sold on the official Gardaland website.
