Movieland through my eyes
Movieland Park, in Lazise, is the Lake Garda theme park dedicated to cinema: film sets, stunts, live shows and rides that put you inside the movies. I've been going for years — for a while with a season pass — and back when cameras were allowed on the rides I filmed my rides from the front seats.
My POV of Diabolik, filmed in the first row riding backwards, has passed 160,000 views on YouTube. Here it is, together with this season's evening show with drones:

Discounted Movieland tickets
I don't sell tickets: I recommend Tikez.it, a leading pre-sale website for the Lake Garda parks, where with my link you get an extra discount I agreed with them. Digital ticket, open date within the season, no queue at the ticket office. Their customer service is friendly and reachable on WhatsApp.
The rides I recommend
🚤 The Superjet
A ride on a super speedboat inside the film set of the park's main show. Accelerations and manoeuvres you'll never feel again — unless you go for another ride.
🦹 Diabolik
A Vekoma roller coaster, a classic boomerang with strong G-forces: a cobra roll and a loop ridden forwards… and then all over again backwards. Try the first row: watch my video above to see what awaits you.
🏢 Hollywood Tower
A really special free-fall tower: it's like being in a lift with no brakes.
🎬 Disaster
You'll travel through the sets of the most famous films, and the memories of each movie will come flooding back.
🦖 Pangea
A prehistoric adventure aboard a jeep, among animated dinosaurs. You don't need a driving licence, but you must be at least 150 cm tall to sit behind the wheel.
👨👩👧 For kids and families
Movieland has lots of attractions suitable for children and teens, such as Driller, Magma 2.1, Gran Canyon Steamer, Iron Pick and many more.
🎭 Don't miss the shows
The shows are run by a professional staff and are one of the best parts of Movieland. Ask for show times and stages at the entrance. In the evening don't miss Sky Parade, the drone show (see my video above).
Practical information
Movieland is part of the Canevaworld Resort in Lazise, right next to Caneva Aquapark and Medieval Times. Opening hours change with the season and on some summer evenings the park stays open late.
